IT Procurement
Procurement and supply guidelines
How we supply laptops, printers and office equipment, in one page. Your proforma confirms the details for each order.
How buying works
- Pick items from the catalog, or tell us what you need. We source items that are not listed.
- We check your company, confirm prices with our suppliers and send a proforma invoice.
- You pay, and we order from the supplier once your payment clears. We hold no stock.
- We deliver to your office, test each item and install Windows at the desk.
Minimum order
- Laptops, MacBooks, desktops, all-in-ones, tablets, monitors, printers and toner: from 1.
- Accessories on their own: mice and mouse pads from 5, laptop bags and other accessories from 2.
- With any device or toner on the same order, accessories have no minimum.
How long it takes
- Most items arrive 1 to 3 working days after payment, and up to 1 week for some items.
- Lead time counts from the day your payment clears, not the day you send the request.
- Each product page shows its own lead time, and your proforma confirms it.
What every supply includes, free
- Windows installation, setup and configuration at the desk
- Testing on arrival against your order
- Warranty claims raised and followed up for you
- An asset code and a register entry for each item
- Installation covers Windows only. It does not include Microsoft Office or other software you use on your premises.
What costs extra
- Delivery. In Lagos it is charged and shown on your proforma. Outside Lagos, we quote the travel cost first.
- Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 licence, priced per item and installed for you
- Antivirus, 1 year, priced per item and installed for you
- Other software, licences and new mailboxes, priced per item
- IT support after the supply, which is a separate monthly plan
Prices and VAT
- Prices are per unit and exclude VAT (7.5%) and delivery. Both are added on your proforma.
- Buying in quantity lowers the unit price where a product shows volume prices.
- We check prices with suppliers often. A price not checked in 30 days shows as "Price on quote".
- A proforma is valid for 7 days, because supplier prices move with the naira.
How you pay
- New clients pay 100% of the proforma before we order.
- Clients who paid on time for their last 3 supplies pay 70% on order and 30% within 3 working days of delivery, with proof of payment.
- We do not give credit. A missed balance means paying in full on the next order.
- Pay from your company’s bank account into the Inventrium company account named on the proforma. We never ask you to pay into a personal account.
Delivery and ownership
- We deliver only to your verified office address, to a named member of staff who shows ID.
- On delivery, you sign and stamp a delivery note to confirm the items arrived.
- We send the sales receipt, which makes the items yours, once you have paid in full. Until then, the items remain ours.
Warranty
- Each item carries its maker’s or supplier’s warranty, registered in your company’s name. The product page shows the term.
- When something fails under warranty, we raise the claim and follow it up for you.
- We do not give a warranty of our own.
The checks we run
- Before a first proforma, we confirm your company with the CAC and call the office number your company publishes.
- We treat a payment as made only when the money has cleared in our account. A screenshot or an SMS alert is not enough.
- These checks protect you and us from fraud. Every new client goes through them.
Questions about an order? Send your list or WhatsApp us, and we reply with a proforma.
