What moves the bill

  • The exchange rate. Both are billed in dollars. Your naira cost follows the rate on the billing date.
  • Annual or flexible. Flexible plans cost about 20% more but let you remove users month to month.
  • Unused licences. Mailboxes for staff who have left are the most common waste. Review the user list every quarter.
  • VAT. 7.5% is added on top of the list price.

Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

Choose Google Workspace if your staff work mostly in the browser and share documents all day. Choose Microsoft 365 if your staff live in Excel and Word, or your accounting and line-of-business software expects Microsoft. Either way, the domain and the admin account should be in your company’s name, not a staff member’s or a vendor’s.
